partied with my colleagues at pizza hut. it is the tradition of my team for out going staffs to give treats to everyone because it is considered a "good thing". after dinner, we went to the museum to watch performances at the night festival. although i couldn't understand some portions of it, the fireworks were great.

caught own time own target at the drama centre. the play depicts the lives of NS-men and the actors accurately portrayed the different personas of the saf soldiers. the first part was on a group of soldiers riding a tank along orchard road. it provided a comical enactment of what i went through in my active days - i was from amour then. you got the tank commander constantly breathing down the driver's neck while trying to command the other troopers in the tank.

the second part was on bmt - the transition for all guys out there. remembering all the blur faces, the physical tortures and the cxxx bxxs from our instructors trying to drill regimentation into us. no one understood why certain things was done until we became commanders ourselves. try saying "please do this" and i will guarantee that you will end up with "you mother-fxxking cxxx bxx can you all just move". after all, tough training is welfare in the saf.

i always tell my friends - "the one regret that i have in life, is not signing on with the army. the day i got my pink ic is the day i felt lost."

the run ends on jul 25, i will strongly recommend that you catch this hilarious show.

played my first 18 game at raffles country club. since my uncle is a member there, i got to play for free (thanks to a voucher from his club). as the club has 2 courses, i assumed that i would be playing on the easier one but my uncle decided to challenge me by putting me on the other course. being a green horn, i lost a total of 6 balls and hit alot of strokes. nevertheless, it was an enjoyable outing. oh yes, driving the buggy is definitely more fun than driving my own car.
